.
Until the Cupboards are Bare
  .
My treasure
Whatever the hell I want,
And my heart
An old dragon who guards it well.
Who am I, pray tell?

The truth?
There's no I in treasure,
No heart after His own,
And the serpent's been slain.
Can't say it more plain.

I rob God,
When I keep what I am given,
And I am a fool
When I store what I can't keep.
I am what I reap.

What must I do?
Believe the only real treasure
Buried three days in the ground
Is for all to share,
Give until the cupboards are bare.
