The Good Book,
Don't it say?
Fruit hanging low
Don't taste so good
As what you had to get a
ladder fer.
Fruit too early picked from
the vine,
I'm sure the Good Book says:
Disrespects the dresser,
Because all the work he
put in
Cost him more than his helper,
It cost him his son.
Like the good fruit in our
life
Only God's grace makes it
grow.
As the Good Book says:
It can for sure be aplenty
But never on the cheap.*
*God's grace is free, but
it is not
cheap. It comes to us at
quite a price. |
