He who stands before a mirror
Reflects identically,
But when he leaves
His memory
fades to
gray.
He who stands before the
Lord
Reflects eternally,
And when he goes
That memory never
Fades away. |

*Moses stood in
God's presence for 40 days, and when he came
down from the mountain his
face glowed. Over time, however,
the glow faded and the evidence
of 'having been with God'
fades away. In Christ, with
His spirit within us, though there is
no glow, the evidence of
our having spent time spent with Jesus,
in His presence, does not
fade away.
