The King of this vast universe
stepped down from His throne
into the cradle of His creation

He lived the life He means
for us
one without sin, one lived for Him,
showing everyone how it is done.
Astonishing!
Then He paid a most dear
price,
suffering, dying and being buried,
the holy cost for us falling so short.
Astonishing!
Having shown how much He
loved,
He rose from the dark grave to prove
our debt once for all was now paid.
Astonishing!
Then He returned to His throne,
seated once again beside Father,
and sent the Spirit to guide us on.
Astonishing!
