Love is not a battlefield
It only hunkers down there,
But make no mistake
It's a place of endless
warfare.
Entrenched in foxholes deep
Caught fast in a two-front
war,
Satan's minions to the left
And God to the right just
as far,
We must not shoot one another,
But instead, turn our backs
To the wiles of this deceiver,
And let our Lord thwart
