Deeper than deep
God dug into
Corinthian dirt,
breaking through 'devil may care'
and far beyond the 'ne-er do well,'
And planted Good News
in the heart
and soul of sin's sin,
furrows readied to grow good seed,
to raise up a crop to follow His Son.
If God can harvest crops
where even
rocks praise Him,
He can cultivate and till today's soil
and yield a harvest a hundred times
As much as was sown
and proclaim
across time
they too are His own.
