In the midst of all too
terrible twisters
insistent upon tearing you
limb from limb,
violent winds so much like
circling wolves
with jaws of ivory daggers
intent to rend
your very soul,
It is so hard to remember:
There's no true calm in
any storm
Except for those who keep
their minds on
and trust in Thee.
