There are many a green tree
in the forest,
But many a dry amongst them
fail the test.
Hear the word of the Lord!
A blazing fire will surely
sweep
East to West,
Consuming the forest whole,
green with the rest.
Hear the word of the Lord!
And every tree will indeed
see,
I am God,
Yet, as to their demise
by fire,
they will all consider
it quite odd.
