The heart given us by Adam
and Eve
Hides more than in the human
breast.
It can hide behind words
and deeds,
And even though the world
is fooled,
God so searches every human
heart
And knows their true intentions
best.
What is the profit of getting
wealth,
To have so much, or by wrong
got?
What is to gain by wicked
deception,
To avoid consequence for
evil wrought?
When God alone can fathom
the heart,
It is best to seek Him from
the start.
