When love is hungry
It eats your thoughts,
When love is hungry
It swallows your heart,
Often spitting them out.
But when God's love is hungry
Tears dry up,
Pain ebbs away,
And death is no more.
His hungry love
Will most assuredly
have the last say,
And will forever and ever
have the last day.
