Who are you now
that you would
pray to Me?
I cannot hear you.
In captivity,
When you would not
obey Me,
I stayed My hand.
Who were you then
to pray to
Me?
In the wilderness,
When you rebelled
against Me,
I stayed My hand.
Who were you then
to pray to
Me?
And in the land of milk
and honey
When you despised
My ways,
I stayed My hand again.
Who were you then
to pray to
Me?
Who are you now?
Blasphemous lot.
Shall I stay My hand?
Unfaithful house.
Yet again?
Do you not yet know
I Am Lord?
I will scatter you
to the winds
And then bring back
those
Who turn from their sins.
And then when you pray
I will hear you
once again.
Then all will know
I Am.
