I saw You taking a nap,
Dear Lord,
In Your boat, asleep
on a pillow,
While a storm beat down
and sea waves crashed,
Like You hadn't a care,
like You already knew
there was nothing to fear.
I saw You taking a nap,
Dear Lord,
While water covered
Your boat, and started
filling it up,
And still You slept,
without anxiousness,
without worry, so relaxed
Like it was all part of
a plan.
I saw You taking a nap,
Dear Lord,
And it gave me courage,
It made me more than
want to nap like You,
I wanted to be in Your boat
with You,
Knowing no matter the storm
I'd be alright.
