Imagine loving so much,
and knowing the only way
to right the wrong between,
Was to put your very life
in hands that wished you
harm, and wanted you dead.
Imagine loving even more,
taking on their punishment,
for their sin, dying in their place.
Letting others take your
life,
knowing their hands will drive
nails into yours, and your feet.
Imaging loving like that.
Would you? Could you?
