The Kingdom of God, in you,
is more than
space in your mind,
heart, soul and body.
It is where the Spirit of
God is your mind,
heart, soul and body.
It is where He lives
and moves and has
His being.
It is where you love Him
and others.
It is where you care for
and show
compassion to the
weak and vulnerable.
It is where you reach out
to the needy.
The Kingdom of God, in you,
is more than
time in your life.
It is when you feed the
hungry and give
drink to the thirsty.
It is when you give shelter
to or clothe the
homeless.
It is when you acknowledge
the neglected.
It is when you overturn
an unjust law or
correct an injustice.
It is when you strive
for peace and avert
a war.
It is when you join in the
struggle to end
poverty.
It is when you teach to
erase ignorance.
It is when you speak up
and tell others
about your true King.
The Kingdom of God, in you,
is more than
history.
It is the fact that the
work of Jesus of
Nazareth made the
present possible.
It is more than the present.
It is the work of His church
as it continues
to create a future
without sin, full of
nothing but peace.
It is more than the future.
It is the hope and faith
that God will
complete His work,
where there will be no
more tears, pain
or death.
The Kingdom of God, in you,
is more than
circumstances and
conditions.
It is the conclusion of
all His work with
us, and for us most
gracious and
merciful, being nothing
less than His love,
His justice, and
His peace.
Christus vincit!
Christus regnat!
Christus
imperat!
Christ conquers!
Christ rules!
Christ
reigns!

(Is Jesus the King in the
kingdom in which
you dwell? Do you live and
serve at His
beck and call? Is your time
His to use as
He so decrees? Would give
Him your last
breath? Is Christ the King
in which you
live now, and forevermore?) |
