When battling any foe,
Instead of donning the armor
the world provides
or turning to the
strength of self,
Cinch up
the Belt of Truth,
Put on
the Breastplate of Righteousness,
Lace up
the Shoes of Readiness,
Take up
the Shield of Faith,
Adjust so
the Helmet of Salvation,
Hold high
the Sword of the Spirit,
And pray
always.
Wear Jesus instead!
