That lariat sure looks fetching,
hanging
off your horse's saddle.
It's all well and good to
twirl it too,
that lovely
lasso above your head,
'round and 'round it goes in the air.
And it's an extra notch
on your belt
if after swinging
that ol' hondo high,
it settles sure over your target's head,
pulling it down, so snug to the ground.
But please understand, sir
or mam,
it's never
good to tie one's happiness
