Sons and daughters,
children of God,
Believers in Jesus Christ,
of Him so awed,
Indwelt by His Spirit,
a power to laud,
Oh, to be led in life¹
and not think it odd,
We cry out Abba,
give us Your nod,
Open Your Word, and
forgo your holy rod,
Teach us to obey,
where few so trod.
