In this world,
to many who
know all about me,
even to beloved family and friends,
I am sinful,
I fall far short of the
mark,
My name is Sinner;¹
I am loathsome,
I cannot be depended on,
My name is Loser;²
I am despicable,
I have treated others poorly,
My name is Despised.³
I don't have much to live
for here.
But in heaven,
to Him who
breathed life into me,
even to the legions of heaven's holy host,
I am forgiven,
And my name is Child of
God.⁴
I have everything to live
for there.
