Night and day
Among the dead
The blind live, 
Cutting themselves
With sharp rocks,
And crying out:
"What do you want with us;
What have we to do with thee?"

Night and day
Amongst us still
Jesus lives,
Having been pierced
With sharp nails, 
And calling out:
"Act justly, love mercy,
And walk humbly with Me."
