Jesus sees me
every morning
Preparing to sit
at this world's table,
And He says,
"Follow me."
Leaving all
that is before me,
I get up and eat
at His table instead.
And at the end
of the day
I invite everyone I know
to my house
To meet Jesus,
to feast with Him,
For I am grateful
He eats and drinks
With riffraff like me.
He comes not
for the well fed,
But to feed
those who hunger.
