Not just a broken down town,
a reminder
of what once was,
Or a distant and vague promise,
a hope of a
time still to come,
But a person of long prophecy,
who is with
us this very now.
Shiloh is our rest, our
peace in
the midst of
pain and sorrow.
And as when He first came,
we can all
have Him today in
the midst of all the wrong that
contends it is so good and right.
We need only to trust and
believe,
to walk with
and talk to, and follow,
and live life in the power He provides.
We can all have Shiloh*
today
and forever.
Genesis 49:10
Ephesians 2:14
*Shiloh
— is the Messiah, the Christ,
Jesus, the Son of God—we
all can have
peace and rest in Him—salvation
from sin
and its consequences—even
when still in
this world that is so bent
on denying Him. |
