There is a grace
in the beauty of everyday delights,
Delicate white flowers
dancing with the wind,
Towering trees of green
reaching for the sky,
Even orange sunlight
reflecting on the water,
Causing our feet
to spring as we walk,
As the simple awes
fill our eyes.
But more important
is the beauty in the grace of God.
Our every sin
He remembers no more,
His grace forgives.
Our every wound
He wants so to mend,
His grace heals.
Our very lives
He wants fulfilled,
His grace abounds.
Our very hearts
He wants loved,
His grace loves.
Our very minds
He wants to know,
His grace reveals.
Causing our feet
to leap in the air,
As the godly awes
save our souls.¹
