When it began,
When God spoke it all to
be,
The Word was with Him,
And the Spirit too,
Poised just above
The face of the deep...
As it began, but
Before God said it was good,
The Word was not just with,
He was God
And the Spirit too,
Together making new.
...in the beginning,
God, the Three in One,
Created the heavens and
earth,
Saying into the dark
"Let there be Light!"
And that light shone.
