||Through sun-setting streets,
Shouldered was the lamb that was slain
For Passover's last supper,
Because He asked them to step up...
The bread and the cup.
From the cross to tomb,
Shouldered was The Lamb that was slain
Before Sabbath's sundown,
Because no one else would or could...
The body and the blood.
Down from the heavens,
Shouldered still is all sin that was slain,
Forgiveness, once, for all,
By He who is the only one able...
Nothing left to shoulder
But His yoke upon the table.
Matthew 27:57, 11:28-30 and 16:24-26
