Clarity

Round and round I ran last night,

chasing a rabbit always out of reach,

Around a track of guilty dreams,

wants for needs that should never be;

A night when no sleep would come

and a finish line I thought I'd never see,

Thank God for morning and for light

and prayers through all dark to clarity.
