A blockbuster deal
two-thousand
years ago,
turned the world upside down:
Holding cards He didn't
have to play,
God the Father traded
our sin and
sinfulness
for the righteousness
of Jesus, His only Son.
Unbelievable? Yes!
But absolutely true!
And the world's never been
the same.
It was real love to offer
such a lopsided
trade.
God so wanted us
to be with
Him like
Adam in Paradise,
He gave His only Son
so we could
walk with Him
in the cool of the garden again.
What was righteous lost
became a wondrous
win,
for those who give up sin.
