In great favor divine,
the King of kings' carpet
red
runs the length from His
mercy seat
to the foot of His forever
royal dais
and beyond that
all the way
to the court's gates,
for when we choose,
in reverent confidence,
assuming there's still time,
to step into the saving
red waters
of the river of His sacrifice sublime.
