Like a river running
forever through
a forest thick,
God is always speaking.
But like a hiker hiking
along that
river, never stopping
to look at it, go to it, step into it,
or even wade out into its current,
We don't always listen,
much less hearing
to understand Him.
Truth is
you must lend
an ear
for God's word to bend it.
Rivers run through forests,
but unless
we at least grace their banks,
We'll never know of the
bends
of which He
speaks.
